This 10-inch knife is well-balanced and well-weighted, making it an excellent workhorse in the kitchen for both prep and line work. It sharpens easily and retains its edge well, requiring weekly maintenance sharpening and frequent honing. Although I prefer a knife with more belly, I'm adjusting to its current design. I rounded the spine near the handle to alleviate discomfort in my claw hand during extended chopping sessions.
