A few negative things-
I got the smaller size, and I do wish I would’ve gotten the larger size, though I’m not sure how well that size would fit in most cup holders. I find myself having to refill it often, and I’m not even a very consistent water drinker. If you drink a lot of water definitely get the larger size. I’ve also noticed that the clear piece that covers the mouth piece will get gross looking if I’m wearing chapstick or anything. Something I should’ve expected I suppose, but it annoys me lol. Lastly, sometimes when I refill the bottle, the rubber gasket between the two pieces will partially come off, but the lid still shuts when it does this, so 50% of the time I don’t notice until I tip the water bottle and water comes pouring out. It doesn’t happen often, especially now that I’m aware of the issue and check before closing it, but when it does happen it can make quite a mess.
Overall, definitely worth the price. I’ll for sure purchase it again once this one wears out.
I also really like the dual option for sipping or chugging — I use the straw for everyday sipping and pop it open to chug during workouts. Super convenient and well thought out!
It’s completely leak-proof (even in my gym bag), and the lock feature adds extra peace of mind when I’m tossing it into my purse or backpack. Dishwasher safe is a big bonus, too — I’ve run it through a few cycles and it still looks brand new.
The carry loop and protective spout cover make it easy to travel with and keep clean. Definitely one of the best bottles I’ve owned — highly recommend for anyone on the go!
So here's the thing. I need my water ICE ICE ICE COLD or I just won't drink it. Like...I want it arctic-level. But the problem I've always had with stainless steel bottles with straws (which I prefer!) is this: I love filling my bottle COMPLETELY with ice and then pouring water into the cracks of the ice. But when I do that, it's practically impossible to get the straw in and the lid twisted close without wrestling with it.
BUT THIS BOTTLE!?!?! This beautiful, underrated bottle????? I can put the straw in, close the lid up and THEN flip the top open and add all my ice and water after it's already sealed with the straw inside. No stress. No spills. No angry twisting. That alone makes this my #1 favorite bottle of them all.
If I could change ONE thing, it would be that I wish the mouthpiece cover and the handle were made of a stronger plastic. I haven't dropped mine yet (fingers crossed), but I do worry that one good fall might crack something. That said, I'd buy it again immediately if anything broke because being able to get my ice in with no problems is everything to me. It does have a top handle to make it easy to carry which is always a plus in bottles for me (even though, like I said, I fear it could break if I drop it), the stainless steel body feels really good quality like most of the bottles on the market and it keeps ice longer than my 2nd and 3rd favorite bottles (my Owala and my Brumate). There's also a lid lock that I love!
Seriously!!! Stop sleeping on this bottle!! Give it the hype it deserves!!!!
