Mechanically it's a good design.
It feels like the plastic will snap but it bends and has not snapped.
The problem is the tiny spikes that holds the lemon in place.
As the lemon is being squeezed, the spikes penetrate and also squeezes the zest.
Zest itself is not bad.
However, it does change the flavor of the lemon juice.
It is noticeable in lemonade for which I purchased this.
The zest flavor is less prominent when lemon is turned around 180 degrees.
But this makes the lemon slip up.
Also, sometimes the lemon juice squirts upwards which is annoying.
I may have to go back and forth between this and the classic upside down squeezer.
