Makes setting reminders and alarms relatively easy but some features are complicated and work better through the app. I like giving it (them) feedback on the nuances which make or break the user experience.

The sound quality is good and the volume gets pretty loud.

It is easy to set an alarm while in bed in the dark without getting up. Its easy to ask when the next alarm is set for, or to change it. Its easy to tell it to stop or change volume. I can easily tell it to set one or multiple alarms but it can be difficult to modify them. For example, "Alexa, set an alarm for 5am to play a train horn." It will set a 5am alarm but will rarely set up the sound. When trying to modify the new alarm it will usually tell me it doesn't understand or will set up additional alarms instead of modifying the alarm I wanted. If you set 2 alarms within 15 minutes apart the first alarm will not sound at all which must be due to a snooze overlap conflict and the I don't believe the second alarm sounded either. I woke up late 3 times due to it.

I often ask questions it says it doesn't understand and can't help with, when Google can usually give you something.
