I purchased this Made In knife as my go-to "every day driver" blade, supplementing my high-end Shun Classic and department store knives for less demanding tasks. The knife's fit and finish are commendable, with a comfortable handle and no sharp edges on the spine. The balance and thinness of the blade suit my preference for thinner knives. However, the knife arrived only moderately sharp, requiring sharpening up to 3000 grit. This seems to be a recurring issue with Made In knives, as my newly bought Santoku also needed sharpening. Lastly, the raised Made In logo on the blade catches on cloth during washing, creating an unwanted sensation of something being stuck to the blade. A more subtle logo would be appreciated.
